dude this joke should have been repeated in every single post in this thread. It is so ridiculous driving down there. I have family in Alphretta, we were down there for a wedding not to long ago, left the wedding at midnight, didnt get back to the hotel until about 3am. that was fun. I will have gps this time around though.

I don't think there's any denying that Atlanta is one of the worst cities in the country regarding sprawl and traffic. You can be 45 minutes out of the city center and STILL on an 8-lane highway that's a parking lot. When you factor in all the streets having the same name, its enough to dissuade anyone from visiting.

I'm in Atlanta too. I'm down for another get together, the ones from Feb/Mar at Moondog's in Buckhead were fun. But that place is a shithole, so that is something that needs to be taken into consideration.

just for reference, I have to help a buddy move on that friday (roswell; reason for the trip), and my aunt and uncle are making me go out to dinner on saturday night (my choice; suggestions for a super expensive dinner so I can stick it to them would be appreciated, ((we do this everytime we see eachother)), and than a night on the town. I really dont want to explain to my friends or aunt/uncle "that Im meeting up with people from the internet". If you guys get solidified on plans, someone PM me a phone number, and you might get a drunken call about midnight on saturday, and I can "randomly" hit the bar up that you guys are going to be at.

ya pretty much, we are leaving stl at 11am, should be in town about 9 at the latest, then we are going to move his crap in, and sit around drinking at his new house. plus he has a pool and I want to swim becuase I havent in forever.

No go for me on the 7th. I have to go to a friend's lakehouse that Saturday so being out both nights on the weekend might be tough.

I feel like I'm always having to bail on these things.
