Been really busy. Trying to catch up on everything here in the thread before I get started for the day.

Oh, and do you call Rebecca #2 "Rebecca-number-two"?
Yes and yes in the third person, not in the second person.

I notice she doesn't smile in any pictures.
Is it because she has a crooked tooth and is self conscious, or is it that she just doesn't ever smile really?
Yes. She is self conscious of that at times, but not in general. Probably just variance on the pics I chose.

She's super pretty and sounds like a really great girl, so I really hope you guys get it all worked out and she stops having problems and you live happily ever after.
Thanks.

And Michelle sounds awesome, fun to be around, good personality, etc.
GL to both of you, you guys deserve a happy ending.
Thanks. I disagree with the "deserve a happy ending" part though. It's not like it's written somewhere that people who go through weird stuff or hard stuff or whatever are entitled to anything. I know what you meant though.

I'm currently working a summer job and I met this amazing girl, (name omitted for safety reasons), who happens to have multiple personalities. It's been around a month and even though I suspected it, and then she told me about it, yesterday night I met her other personality for the first time and it was probably the most bizarre moment of my life... both personalities know the other exists, both have issues with each other (the "original" has no issues while the "intruder" is aggressive and nymphomaniac). Having had conversations with both and seeing how they act I saw that multiple times today she has gone from one personality to the other.
What I wanted to say is, ordinarily I don't know what I'd do about this, but your post has given me the courage to try my best with her...
Thanks for posting all that you did... I appreciate it and it has helped me understand my situation and what I might be facing later...
Good luck. I know you didn't ask for advice, but I'm going to give you some anyway: Realize at some point sooner or later you're going to have doubt. Try not to feel too guilty about it.

Not really. I felt the same before any of this happened. It does make me wonder how things would have been different if all of this had come out before I met her.

I think you are the one thing that will get her through this and you are doing a great job , keeping your head straight along the way . You chose the point when you opted for all in and not a fold . No pressure , right ? lol .
No questions from me just best wishes to you both for the future . She deserves something good in life .
Epic thread for my 1st post .
Thanks.

From reading your replies, doesn't it worry you that her dad might have another heart attack while driving her? The well-being of her dad aside, and assuming he doesn't crash the car in the process, I cant imagine being in that situation would be good for her
That feels like a rhetorical question, so instead - what steps have you taken on improving your poker game so you can make more monies and make new living arrangements?
It's something that's crossed my mind but I don't see it as being a huge deal. Any other random stuff could happen to her (or me) while driving at any time.
My poker game got all screwed up, and it's really only been in the past few months that I've really started trying to deal with that. I quit poker for a while and realized how ridiculous that was so I'm currently rebuilding from a small deposit after a week or two or three.

Which of the characters agreed with this thread? It seems to me that you would need alot of self confidence to have your friend post the story of your life, including pics.
Have you had different personalities read this thread? I wonder how different matilda/rebecca's responses would be.
Do you think it would help if her uncle would confess to her and tells her he's sorry before he dies? Could that help her in moving forward?
Do you think Michelle will change for the good as soon as the uncle passed away? Will this bring some sort of 'relief' for her?
Most of the time only the good people get cancer. Good to see her uncle got it. God is punishing him after all?
BTW, i'm in the lol jezus camp as well
Thanks for sharing this OP and I wish you and Michelle all the best in your prusuit for happyness together!
None of "them" have let me know that they don't approve of this thread being done. It's possible one or more of "them" don't like it, but "they" haven't let me know, so at this point I'm assuming that in either case it's not really an issue.
Matilda is rarely in the forefront for more than say 20-30 seconds lately (past couple of months) but it's hard to say what the difference in reaction would be, if any. I feel like the main difference with Rebecca at this point would be a lot more adjectives used about certain replies/questions this thread has gotten.
As far as the uncle confessing or whatever, I really have no idea. I can see it causing anything from having a really good effect to having a really bad effect. I don't know if him dying will cause much change, if any. I would guess the change would be minimal.
I doubt it.
Thanks.

I have no idea, and it doesn't really matter to me. I wouldn't want her to. I've wondered the same (briefly) before, but I've never brought it up because it's not important. If everything happened on the same time frame and she stayed like she was before all of that happened, objectively I think that she would, but I can't say I wouldn't try to do something to push her away so she wouldn't have to deal with it.

I'm not sure if it's possible for anyone to be completely objective if you ask them about how ****ed up they are, but I'll try anyway.
...so I've been thinking about this one for a few minutes, and it's a really hard question to answer. I guess I put my balls on someone's forehead who arguably tried to kill me, recorded it on a camera, and then showed her on camera after the fact, so that sort of answers that question.
