That breaker in California is selling to the same customers you are, and especially he is selling to the regs of the sports collectible industry who could by themselves represent a large part of your profit.

Making it so he can sell 1% equity in a high end collectibles box for $55 to 100 different people watching around the world makes it pretty unlikely the few of his watchers that are in your area are going to come in and spend that $55 with you.

Granted, you're kind of damned if you do, damned if you don't (ie, if you don't, there's someone out there who will collect that $500 for doing some paperwork). The alternative is trying to gobble up as much of this pie as you can and become a major wholesaler to box breakers.

You are not wrong but to become a major wholesaler in this industry you would need legit 10 million liquid.

I am one of his early patreons and appreciate his content. He has a lot of influence and can literally move the needle on pricing with just a single video. That said, he has amassed a ton of wealth and is one of the nicest guys in industry so I would say he has it figured out.

Funny this got bumped, I just got all my cards from my parents old house. Boxes and boxes. Mostly 88-93.

Is there anything at all to do with all the commons other than burn them?

Anyone can answer.

I used to suggest offering them to boys clubs or children’s hospitals but nowadays even hose places don’t want them. Do you have any cards that are worth money? If so try and put them together and sell the whole collection. If not, then burning them is probably the best bet.

I dropped mine off at a thrift shop that is part of a non-profit and got a receipt for a charitable donation at (IIRC) a penny/card.
