Unknown. He had many effeminate mannerisms, but there is no proven record of him engaging in homosexual activities. In a book I have entitled 'Hitler and the Power of Aesthetics' there are many pictures of him in an art gallery giving the "limp wrist" mannerism. There is some speculation that he may have been a male prostiture when he was living as a destitute in Munich during his early 20's before the outbreak of World War 1.

He did have an obssession with his niece Geli Raubal (from a half sister) and she ended up commiting suicide over an undisclosed argument. His later mistress Eva Braun used to share a room adjacent to his and no one really knows what occured in there.

As a child I noticed that his name seemed to be synonomous with 'evil.' It is the only name you can drop in a room full of people and cause everyone to fall silent and stare at you. No other name, not Ghengis Khan, Jesus, Einstein, Stalin, or Napoleon has this effect.

I figured if I could understand this Hitler fella then I could understand anyone and have a better grasp of the human condition as a whole. I am not a racist or a National Socialist, my interest is merely in Hitler as a persona.

For years before World War 1 Hitler was living in a men's hostel. It was like a large gymnasium and everyone had their own cubicle with a cot. Very cheap rent as you can imagine, about one step up from living on the streets.

During this time his only source of income was painting postcards of landscapes around Vienna. He would usually sell these to art dealers and they would be used to fill picture frames. They usually purchased these out of pity. He listed his profession as 'Architectural painter.'

The reason why Hitler wore his mustache that way was because no one in Germany wore it that way at the time. He did this to advertise his uniqueness I suppose. But a lot of men in Britan wore the mustache that way and Hitler had always respected the British. And yes, he ruined the mustache and the name at least for the next few centuries.

The Germans took a word that had been in their language for centuries and completely deleted it from usage. I'm pretty sure the facial hair and name aspects were also goners at that point.

His Grandfather on his father's side was Jewish. So that means Hitler was a 1/4 Jewish. It was not uncommon for many Nazi Higher up's to have a bit of Jewish blood. In fact Hitler might have preferred it as it meant they weren't perfect and more easily malleable to his will, due to perhaps an unconscious guilt. Records of this were no doubt suppressed when Hitler annexed his home country of Austria.
