I drove a little bit last time to get in full totality, but driving this time would be at least an hour for totality this time around so just gonna view it from where I am since it will be over 98%. I'm sure the experience won't be much different but at least I'll know for sure.

I think we're getting like 65% which is similar to last October? Have seen two, maybe three, total solar eclipses and they're cool but not worth traveling for.

Buddy took his RV down to some eclipse festival in Austin but apparently is going to be cloudy?

For anyone wanting to take pice, got a good tip: put eclipse glasses over phone camera so sun doesn't wash it out.

Got a couple borderline, will post later.

I got a couple too, but very difficult to take. Also totality is a must. Even at 98% it was still surprisingly bright.

I caught glimpses (no glasses needed). Damn clouds. Totality was eerie and cool.

With no clouds it has to be absolutely amazing.

Clouds cooperated for us in Fort Worth. Loved it.

I'm not sure what happened here. I was having trouble positioning phone/glasses and being steady, I assume something moved at the moment of truth. Or, you know, evidence of aliens.

This one kind of interesting, but not good eclipse photo.

The best of the bunch, I guess

The sun, what there was of it, popped through the clouds for about 30 seconds while I was walking one of the dogs. AFAIK that was the only time it happened here all day. And that was about a half-hour past prime time.

I was never much of a Dead fan but I did see them in Phoenix in ‘94.

When I get some time, I have a terrific story about that show that ends with me regaining memory as I woke up in a motel in Albuquerque.

Present. (LDO?)

Dylan/Petty was an early concert experience for me, probably '84? Pretty sure local celeb Stevie Nicks sat in on a couple of songs, too.

Dylan did an awesome Az State Fair concert maybe 15 years ago? Best show of his I've seen.

He did the fair in 2002 and 2009. Both good shows.

Best part, tickets were like $10 plus whatever it cost to get into the fair.

Yes. I have staved off death for the last 731 days.

All is well. I went though a dark period when I moved to Houston but I'm good, found what all I could hope to find.

Just got my passport and am about to get into globe hopping. Starting with Costa Rica.

I hope things are good with y'all constitchency.

First day that shorts and T shirt were the uniform of the day. Nice out, looking forward to more nice weather.
