I was so naive as a kid that I didn't realize Charles Nelson Reilly was insanely effeminate and likely gay. I just thought he was eccentric. I had the same feelings about Paul Lynde on Hollywood Squares slightly earlier.

Richard Dawson was the Michael Jordan of Match Game btw.

Was crestfallen after reading a story about how Charles Nelson Reilly would spot a cute boy in the audience and invite him to his dressing room and then show up at his middle school ick.

Nowadays I watch trying to tell if it was the first shoot of the day or the second, because I guess most of them would get completely trashed in between shows during 'lunch'. And what the hell was Brett Somers known for? Wow, didn't know she was married to JACK KLUGMAN.
