I would definitely recognize my cat. My tuxedo is very distinct looking -- all black face, white whiskers. My black one has a few random white hairs on her chest and one on top of her head. Even then, I would be able to tell based on her diiiids meow.

I just stumbled onto a $25 Barnes and Noble gift card I got for Christmas and I need to spend it before I forget about it entirely. Nothing on my wants list is standing out to me except maybe Wittgenstein's Mistress, so you guys tell me what to get.

I recommend Wittgenstein's Mistress since nothing else stands out for you.

But if you're interested in serial killers I'd recommend a graphic novel called My Friend Dahmer. It's about Jeffrey Dahmer's junior high / high school years, written by a classmate of his.

While it's possible that book doesn't suck, I read Vanishing Point, which I gather is in a pretty similar vein, and ye gods it was terrible.

Both written by guys named David. Follow up with DUCY and you've got a thematic trilogy.

Been meaning to pick this up for a while. They have it at the local Books a Million though so I'll get it there when I do.

All I know is that it sounds like something I would be into, and that David Foster Wallace thought it was pretty rad, so that is enough for me to want to read it.

Nevermind guys, if you spend $25 you get free shipping so my book purchases will be whatever combination gets it to $25 on the nose.

To find a cat you must lose a cat. The universe will detect a cat deficit which must be filled.
