No, I don't get bored. Lonely, yes.
I wasn't always good at being alone. Maybe I'm still not. But something has shifted in the last year, and I often feel very peaceful and content when I'm here by myself.
Dating: Haha yeah. It's very different.
I went out with someone who doesn't believe in climate change. wtf. The dating pool is much smaller. In DC, if you lived on the other side of the city that was a long way. Preferably, let's have us both in NWDC, if not the same neighborhood. For most of the last year I dated someone who lived 45 minutes away.
Also, age differences, because of the smaller dating pool, are less of a factor.
Lots of single moms in the area also. Never dated anyone with kids before moving here.
