Holy **** the guy from earlier has gone to sleep next to the soda machine. He just sat down and went to sleep with his arms crossed on his knees. I'm looking at silhouetted palm trees. This rising sun and this fool is sleeping on the street. I can see his white shoes from fifty yards away.

I'm sitting at her bar. He sits down next to me. I lean back. I can't understand what he's saying. I've ****ed his girl a couple of times. He knows it. He didn't pull me off the bar stool though. He could have. I'm so drunk I'm wobbling. He didn't though. He just sat down and started saying words. Let me buy you a drink.

We start drinking and talking. The girl is looking at me. Please, don't. I won't. I'm drinking with her man and talking music. We're trading songs on the jukebox. I'm thinking, take your shot. I deserve it. Lay it on me. I won't put up much of a fight.

I want him to hit me. In a weird way. If he'd just throw it. It would solve all of his problems. Knock me down and she won't go looking again.

He couldn't do it. I got bored and left.

Sun is up bright now. All this sunshine. This poor guy sleeping on the street next to a vending machine. I'm getting high and listening to the rolling stones.

I don't know how to respond to that. I haven't met any 2+2 peeps.

I'm too drunk to start a blog but I feel like typing.

I woke up this evening and did the triathlon. Ice water, aspirin, and coffee. I started playing cash games online and reading the news. People protesting the election.

Let's put it to a vote. We lost. Let's protest. Keep putting it to a vote until we win???

Shocked watching the footage of dem supporters crying. What I wanted to happen didn't happen. I'll cry now. Tomorrow, I'll protest democracy.

So confusing to me.

So, full of life now. Drinking beer and smoking. Listening to the stones and just free to do whatever I choose. Looking over Las Vegas lights and I can just do as I please.

My family has been here since the 1600's. Fought and died in the revolution, WWI, WWII, the civil war (on both sides), Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Desert Shield...

I think my cousin is the only one still serving... I know he was in Somalia at some point. We don't keep in touch.

I had this weird idea that we all knew what was going on. I had this weird idea that we all understood that living free was the goal. All these young fools have been going to war for 200 years to give us the opportunity to choose our leader.

We chose one. Let's protest that.

I'm so disconnected. I don't ever want to come back.

Leonidas took 7000 men to face the Persians. Only 300 were his own. He was outnumbered 20 to 1. When Xerxes asked him to lay down his weapons he responded, Molon Labe. Come and take them.

The modern motif: if i don't get what i want then i'll cry about it. I'll set trash cans on fire and throw rocks at businesses and police officers.

So sick of it.

American men should be able to get drunk. Drink whiskey deep into the night. Listening to music. **** women who will make us sandwiches in the morning. We'll gamble all of our money away and wake up to make more. Anyone who stands up to that, we'll pick up guns and shoot bullets into them.

OP,

Where are you from originally? I really like this AMA and way better than the usual. You and TST's chaptered home game story are go to reading material these days (well late evenings, usually).

And got damn you're right. As American men, we should be able to booze down crown all night to good tunes, **** sexy natural women til you bust off inside with no Jimmy and no worries, and wake up with a pocket full of dough and a nice bacon, egg and cheese on a long Italian seeded roll from a legit dego bakery like there is every few miles in Philly. Then, smoke a fat one, goto the casino, win a thousand at 2/5 - because it's a game that's not too serious, but forreal enough to make a normal, working man's heart pump when shipping a 100bb+ pot, then head to the tavern/bar/pub and rinse and fawking repeat.

That's my dream life. Sad right? LoL. Fk grinding an honest living and not having a big enough roll or less enough responsibilities to take a serious shot at the glamour life of beating 5/T regularly and living cheaply in a nice part of FL. Because idk about the rest of you east coast cats, but I've been here 30 years and I wouldn't care if I never saw snow again.

Keep at it, OP, you're a sharp dude and you paint a great picture of your mentality and surroundings. Thank you for posting.

Depending on your level of disposable income it's a 2/4 limit or 1/2 NL game in any strip casino.

For the record, it wasn't a compliment.

lol

I was pretty housed when I was responding. I sensed the sarcasm but I was too drunk to tell where it was coming from. I'm a HST fan and any comparison comes across as a compliment.

I figured it was best to just say thanks to everyone and risk getting leveled.

I'm a boozer. Coke is just an emergency back up. I've done it (maybe) ten times in my life. Most of those occasions where Bachelor parties, New Years Eve... Spots where I was done but still had a long night ahead. It's like aspirin to me. I don't get any enjoyment from it but it works.

I'm old now.

No debts to bookies but I am busto on sports. Fading my action will get you millions. Over is the funnest bet besides betting closer's (horse racing).
