let's break down the most tilting performance ever of this song
0:02 - this intro graphic is already a bad omen
0:15 - ok we’ve established this is the whitest crowd ever, can’t even jump in unison
0:28 - underlined by the shot of one person bobbing side to side, and another person next to them jumping up and down
0:36 - bald mustache guy is the only worthwhile thing in the video
0:47 - ok .. you’re just going to stand on stage, swing your arms, and not even clap. don't forget this
0:51 - bald mustache guy knows to clap. he's the only guy who gets off unscathed in this performance imo
1:00 - dude getting his face ****ing rocked off
1:15-spacetime continuum stops: ok i guess we’re going to ride a bike with a potato cam attached to it
2:02 (background) - notice the woman still just .. swaying her arms
2:05 - yeah let’s turn the bike around to make sure no one misses the majesty
2:24 - still dig the bald mustache guy
2:28 - workman’s comp claim
2:38 - notice he’s gotten the **** out of the way of this bicycling maniac with a ****ty go-pro
3:10 - .. ok enough with the skipping, pls stop
3:13 - have you ridden a bike before wtf
3:17 - this woman has literally done nothing on the stage besides walk and swing her arms
3:39 - guitarist trying to look as cool as bald mustached guitarist, failing, some sort of bad LotR vibe here
3:41 - 360 spin by bald mustache dude, a++
3:52 - woman still just walking around, gtfo the stage
3:57 - why the **** is peter gabriel trying to hide behind the bald mustached dude? we all saw your ****ty bike
4:00 - merciful end, song ruined forever
Sounds pretty good for a live performance. He's in tune. Good balance between vocals and music. I am impressed. Didnt watch it on your advice though. Also the workman in "workman's comp" has been replaced by worker.
Not sure what you expect the Kate Bush replacement girl to do during a song that has no female vocals.
Spectacles are hard when you get old. Last tour he didn't even try, just played the music, and had to take a tea break to soothe his throat while the other musicians got solos.
I saw this show at the Universal Amphitheater.
Half way through the song he walks to the edge of the stage, turns his back to the audience, and falls back onto them.
The show I saw the audience held him up and passed him all the way to the top row and back to the stage.
