Ya, the Matt and Dave episode may be the funniest overall so far.

Also, to whoever said the Jamie Kennedy episode wasn't a riot, it's where he first delves into his plan of sending some jews down to clean up mexico, which is one of my favorite ideas yet. Also I just listened to the Dr. Drew episode again yesterday and it's basically a portal into adam's soul with analysis by Drew so I highly recommend that episode as well.

wtf. I cant find the Dr Drew podcast on my Itunes or on carollaradio.com. Has it been taken down?

This thread sent me to the Seth McFarlane podcast, which seemed rather unremarkable to me.

It seems odd to me that everyone loved that one, and nobody loved the Bobcat one. Must be a generational thing.

For Conan's old spot?

Nah, hosting a standard late night talk show really aint Carolla's forte (though the man show was good...)

His comedy is mostly observational.

Not really skits or celebrity interviews.

He would be best working with people/a person he really knows and is comfortable chatting with.

Maybe a short interview segment where they bring in a guest to be a 3rd person.

Adam and I've been listening to him for 12 years. He would be terrible at hosting a late night talk show. Being in front of a camera doing planned jokes is not his style and he ends up looking and sounding really awkward and unfunny. IIRC, he already tried hosting a TV talk show and it bombed. Some of The Man Show sketches were good, but you could tell when Adam was talking in front of the audience that he was very uncomfortable.

The Loveline radio show was an absolutely perfect medium for his style. Reacting to spaced out teenagers and making fun of people spontaneously.

this show has become part of my daily wasting time routine. i'd never listened to him until i dl'ed the first podcast. he's great.

if there was a hassle-free way to charge 10 cents an episode i'd rather pay that than have advertising. but i don't think there exists a hassle-free way to charge 10 cents an episode
