More about this below.

1) If you could travel into the past but not return, would you? Where would you go & what would u try to do if your goal was to reshape history?

2) If u were handed an envelope with the death of your date inside, & u knew u could do nothing to alter your fate, would you look?

3) What, if anything, is too serious to be joked about? (Assume u aren't at an airport & subject to immediate arrest!)

4) What is the most outrageous thing u have ever done? Do u look back on it more with pleasure or regret? Do u wish you'd been more or less cautious in your life?

5) To prevent the otherwise sure extinction of the blue whale, what would be the most time you'd be willing to spend as a quadriplegic, paralyzed below the neck? Assume that a complete recovery would be instantaneous.

I got "The Book of Questions" as a gift a while back. It has 291 of them. I chose 5 at random once before. Obviously, doing it again. Whoever wants to answer them, go for it. Got some interesting answers from the folks doing it the 1st time.

If your date doesn't know you are going to strangle her to death, I do not see a problem

Think that is wrong. There are 291 total questions? So 291/5 is 58.2, so 59 threads ime.

But this assumes no replacement. If duplicate questions are allowed then obviously the number of threads is likely to be far higher. Does anyone know how to estimate that? Google was no help.

1) I like the present well enough. I would go back 20 years and stack cash from online poker.

2) I always feel this hypothetical doesnt work. I know I die in 2055, so now I can go safely dive off the Stratosphere? That doesnt seem right.

3) I dont believe anything is off limits in this regard, depending on present company and their potential for butthurt.

4) Nothing comes to mind. Probably less cautious.

5) Not all that long, unless some whale sickos are funding my down time. Having a single broken leg with still fully functioning foot attached sucks enough ass. I wouldn't notice the lack of whales anyway.

You would probably spend 37 years in a coma. Or worse, spend that long in agonizing pain; I wouldn't try it.
