It was never a "Ferrari" engine, it was a Dino engine. Ferrari engines had 12 cylinders. Dinos never came from the factory with Ferrari badges. They didn't start calling non-12 engines "Ferrari" until the 308, and even then it was called a Dino the first year.

I haven't looked into this one, but I used to hang around a bunch of Mustang-heads when the earlier Bullitt came out. IIRC it had some track-worthy upgrades like brakes and suspension.

Back when casinos used to put cars out front that you could win on a slot, like in Vegas Vacation, one of them had an M1 out front. I had a very vague idea of what it was (my interest in cars has gone up and down over the years). Mostly I just remember it had a 6 banger. Had I known what it was worth I might have thrown a few quarters into a slot.
