What else does Samsung add that you find useful besides your one example that is currently shared with stock?
BTW back button being on the wrong side is a deal breaker for me already, so there's no convincing here, just curious.
s8 has on screen buttons, so you can simply switch layout in menu. for older models there's a root free app to change it. personally, i got used to it after a few days.
https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyS7/co...f_my_favorite/ lists a lot of distinguishing features. i cannot tell you if they're all still not available on stock.
some of it is of course useless for me personally, but imho some of the better ones:
- double click to launch camera
- power saving mode + ultra power saving mode.
- private mode to hide private documents / pics / videos system wide
- enhanced screen cap: allows you to capture an entire page, not just what's on the screen, by scrolling and stitching each screen into one long screen cap.
- samsung cloud backup: "It's like backing up and restoring your iPhone with iTunes minus the pain of iTunes." (<-- have never restored my phone, cannot say how well it works)
- there's a search box to search through all your settings. that's quite handy sometimes.
