On a computer, create a new shared calendar at the Google calendar website. Make it a shared calendar with as many collaborators as you want. Allow collaborators to create edit etc. I'm sure there's some minor detail I'm misstating or forgetting, but it really is that easy. Example: I have a private calendar, wife has private calendar, we have a shared calendar so that we don't have to invite each other's private calendar to things like dinner with friends, only add once.

Similarly, businesses sometimes add calendars for things like conference rooms that are shared calendars.

Any account can have many calendars, there can be calendars that aren't tied to a specific email, etc.

Anyone using "Wifi calling" regularly in an area that has poor cell reception have any stories good or bad? I'm most concerned about incoming calls which I'm missing a lot of where I just moved too due to poor reception and don't want to get a landline. Looks like I have to upgrade my S5 to get the feature so I able looking for feedback either way. Thx

My Samsung S7 has it and it works pretty well with all features except 3 way calling. Early on tested incoming calls and it worked fine.

We returned about 5 G4s to Verizon before giving up. Apparently their "refurb" process leaves a lot to be desired.

Works just fine for my nexus 5x. I don't notice a difference.

Thx I'm planning on upgrading to an S7. Bit surprised this feature is only available on certain phones (also S6, iph6/7, LG4/5) and not as an android update. There must be a hardware component that someone smarter than me can point out.

Thx. Almost sounds to good to be true. It's been available since July 2016 so I'm surprised a bigger deal has not been made of it. It certainly sticks another fork into any real need for a landline and even other VoIP's. Other VoIP solutions always involve issues with incoming calls and forwarding or adding another number or the app has to be open etc. Now you only need a wifi connection for seamless connectivity to your cell network.

My Pixel has been fine, no reboots, but I noticed yesterday that my battery dropped from 62% to 15% and then went back up a few minutes later. Really confused me

I had something similar two days ago,on my HTC M9.

Went from 100% to less than 30%
in less than two hours, with no real use.

But yesterday went all day just fine.

Facebook had a server-side issue a couple days ago that significantly affected battery life on devices with the FB and/or Messenger app installed - that was probably what happened to you, Eeyorefora. Not sure about bware.

That's probably true, I shut it down, along with other apps to preserve battery once I saw the drain happen.

I was worried my battery was starting to fail, and I literally have had the phone one year as of today.

Just replaced the lcd and digitizer on my wife's old nexus 5x. I had been putting it off cause the videos looked a little daunting and I was worried about breaking an expensive phone. Bought a new screen with the frame already attached. Super easy, took less than an hour.

Do (tweet) links not work for others on tapatalk? When I click them it just opens my browser to about:blank

This is great news. Been putting it off since no one fixes them. Can you post a link to what you bought? How do I know if I need a new digitizer too? Thx!

Same thing for me. They show up as a string of numbers in Hyper link form. Not one has ever opened

There is a problem with how tweet embed was implemented. Not sure if it will be fixed.

Anyone else notice a problem with long press to highlight text in a text field where you are actively typing (only since the 6.0 Marshmallow update)?

It works fine on a webpage where you want to highlight and copy text, and the new cut/copy/paste popup shortcuts are nice.

However the problem is that when you try it in a text box, only the one word that you long pressed gets highlighted, and there are no handles to expand/move the highlighted area. Like this:

No handles to drag around

It should look like this:

Note the blue tear drop shaped handles at the edges of the highlighted area.
For the life of me I cannot get them to pop up in a text box

The more I use Marshmallow the more things I find that don't work as well as previous versions of Android.

Hi,

This is what I got.
http://m.repairsuniverse.com/lg-nexu...bly-frame.html

It comes with the frame attached so you don't have to mess with pulling the screen apart and applying adhesive. I pretty much followed the steps in the YouTube video on that page, but they don't show a couple things you need to move over from the old frame to the new one. PM me before you do it and I'll tell you what I did/learned.

@cs3: Works completely fine for me on my phone (Samsung s7)

If you can't solve it: sounds like something that a factory reset could probably solve (unless it for some reason that is really planned behavior on your device)
