I always thought of him as the guy from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, a deeply underrated film.

I thought so, too; hell, I thought ALL of the wrestlers were older -- although that's probably colored by the fact that I was probably 11 or so when watching them, and a 30-year-old is ancient by the standards of an 11-year-old.

Although it looks like Roman Reigns is on the mend, the year is still young for those who chose Enzo Amore, Big Cass, Superstar Billy Graham, or Kamala.

Now that you mention it, for the past 10 years or so a "Mr. Marcus R.I.P." shows up from time to time. Like a lower scale Doyle joke. This was another. Rumour has it that he started a big STD outbreak and was blackballed out of the business. I've read a few sites that confirmed he's still alive.

Not a hoax: We recently lost Charles Van Doren at 93.
You probably best knew him as the guy played by Ralph Fiennes in Quiz Show.

John Singleton was like the Martin Scorsese of black film. Boyz n the hood, Poetic Justice, and Baby Boy all hold up 20+ years later. He truly made some of the most accurate depictions of the black experience of the time period that there's ever been.
