The low royalty rate that you're talking about isn't true in our case because we don't go through Kindle Direct Publishing. However, we do pay a price for not using Kindle Direct Publishing in that it can take a long time before Amazon will get the conversion done. So even though Amazon now has the appropriate files from us to convert to a kindle, I suspect it will take a while.
On the other hand, if what you state about royaties was not accurate, we would then go through their more direct procedure and you would see a kindle for this book fairly quick.
