Are these two books much different for someone who plays no limit hold em? Can you read the no limit one and get the same info as theory?

That NLH book is badly outdated. The limit book probably helps indirectly in big bet poker also but don't expect it to. I play both and more. Harrington is something more recent but more or less of it is also outdated.

Both great books. Theory of Poker cover's general concepts that apply to all poker games (limit and no limit). In my opinion, the best book I've read on poker. It has a huge influence on the way I play. I've reread this book many times.

No limit Holdem Theory and Practice of course is specific to No limit holdem. A very thick book with tons of info that really reflects the complexity of no limit holdem. One minor negative is that the equations are tedious to follow and that can get rather annoying but they can be skipped (as the book says).

Both books written by David Sklansky (a great writer), so you can't go wrong there.
