Hi Mason, I ordered through the 2p2 store last week, have not received any shipping confirmation. Are the books going out on your end? TY

Hi stumbras:

A kindle is coming and should be available soon, but we have no plans for an audio book.

Best wishes,
Mason

This might just be nitpicking, but on page 9 there is an example of holding 77 on a KK7 flop against an opponent who can only have AA or KK. The text states that 77 is a 6 to 1 favorite... but that's not quite accurate. 77 is only behind 1 of the 7 combinations (the one combo of KK), but the remaining 6 combos (the AA combos) are not drawing dead... they have 4 outs. 77 is a little worse than a 3 to 1 favorite.

It's still a good illustration of the concept, though.

Hi bacchist:

What you say is correct. Obviously what David meant is that at that point you're a 6-to-1 favorite to have the best hand.

When it comes time (hopefully soon) to do a second printing, this will be changed so that there will be no confusion.

Best wishes,
Mason

Hello

If I buy this book on here (twoplustwo) from the UK how long will it take to ship to me? Or will it be better to buy it on amazon US and have it shipped to the UK from there ?

We can't offer free shipping to the UK, so buying from Amazon has to be the better way to go.

I read the book and I recommend the book.

I will buy it on Kindle for myself and make a gift of my physical copy.

However, I was disappointed David had no chapter explaining how he managed to have so many beautiful women watching him play when he was an active player-- the the strategy & tactics of this.

Got my copy today. Book is deep (which is good). I practically memorized The Theory of Poker so that is helpful in reading this book. It will take me awhile to get through it as I like to get a pencil and paper out then do what ifs. Very interesting book.

Does the book have quizzes or questions to help reader apply concepts?

Hi avatar:

Not really, but there are lots of examples. In addition, at the end of most chapters their is a section called "Key Points" which should help you to apply the concepts in the chapter that has just been read.

Best wishes,
Mason

David would explain how women are attracted to men of very high intelligence, as he's claimed before. He would probably go on to explain that it has something to do with the woman's future offspring and woman wanting the best of it for same. He might continue with examples of famous genii who were surrounded with attractive woman, yada yada yada (Why did Einstein marry his cousin?).

Some would counter that he being a successful gambler and author has more to do with it, as women are attracted to money. Yet others would counter that history is replete with examples of woman attracted to the famous and infamous, regardless of intelligence or money (woman marrying or offering to marry murders in prison they've never met, for example).

But the fact of the matter is that if David really knew how to attract woman he could write a book about that and make Mason and him untold $Millions, and not waste his time on this poker silliness. Besides, for all we know, David paid those woman to watch him play (Remember the actors Trump paid to watch him ride that escalator! But then again, David is only a genius, where Trump is a stable genius.).

But whatever the reason beautiful woman watched David play, we love him just the same.

Hi avatar:

You'll need to talk to Amazon. We have no control over what price they choose to sell it at. However, Amazon will change their prices every so often.

Best wishes,
Mason

The price of the Kindle version just came down a few bucks in the US after originally being higher than the paperback price, so maybe that's true in Canada now too.

you are right. It is now exactly the same price for both versions.

I already ordered the hard copy (my preference anyway if it is the same price) so look forward to getting my copy and digging right to it.
