What is the best book(s) you would recommend for me to improve my math in poker? i am not the best at math nor do i have a high level of math under my belt.

The first chapters of "The poker blueprint" or "Professional No limit Hold Em" is good if you want to buy a poker book that covers math and strategy.

Probably what you are looking for:
"Poker math that matters" is probably the best book on poker math for those who is not that good at math.

"The math of Hold Em" contains everything in the books over pluss a lot of more advanced poker math, but it is not as easy and fun to read.

There are also a lot of internet resources on poker math for example here on 2+2 and the poker bank.

I would read "poker math that matters" first and then parts of "The math of Hold Em" if you need more.

Hey, I'm pretty new to the game as well and looking for a good math book. These books are for cash games, would you recommend the book for sng games?

Poker math is universal. Just add ICM for SNG's.

Poker Math that Matters. It covers everything you need to get started, and is clearly presented in a step by step manner. (Good for the math challenged.) The quizzes at the end of each section are good for really internalizing the concepts and checking that you actually understand them.

The Math of Hold'em was very very good, but is a little more in-depth. Read it after PMtM if you want more material.

The Mathematics of Poker is EXTREMELY detailed and in depth with game theory and model games. It's cool, but probably way above the level you're looking for. (It was tricky to follow with a strong math background, I almost had to treat it like a textbook.
