Just picked up Doug Hull's new book:
Poker Work Book for Math Geeks

It is available on his website here:
Poker Work Book for Math Geeks

I just started the book so not in a position to give a full review. What I really like about this book is that it is the first book that I have seen which actually gives practical ways to do poker math on the fly and also using Poker Cruncher which is the program I use.

Anyone else pick up this book?

i just read the description and it doesn't appear to cover anything that wouldn't be in any basic maths book

Math is math - I don't know how one could rewrite a poker math book with new concepts.

What makes this book different and worthwhile to check out is that it is structured like a workbook with problems to work on as you read through the chapters. I find it extremely helpful to go through those problems as they are reflection of real life situations I could be facing in a table. It goes through shortcuts and general rules to remember that actually help me do the math in a real life situation.

Most other math books covers the math without really telling you how to do it on the table.

If you want to learn math for hold'em and the practice on how to do it in a live game, I highly recommend this book

any calculations that you'd do at a table are trivial though, that's my point
