New Book Announcement Thread Policy

Hi Everyone:
We've decided to make some changes to our no-self promotion policy concerning books. From now on, any non-Two Plus Two author can start a new thread announcing any book of their's that has come on the market (and this includes older as well as new books). We ask that the opening post be limited to no more than 100 words, and we also ask that you do not link to your website, publisher's website, or a website like Amazon.com where the book can be purchased. And, I want to emphasize that these posts/threads are to be made by the author and not the publisher.
This is a significant change to what we have allowed in the past and it should allow more authors to talk about their books and for more discussion on new and older books. All comments and suggestions are welcome.
Best wishes,
Mason

I would have limited to 50 words. If they need 100 I don't want to read it.
