Has anyone checked this book out? Is it any good? Honestly there are few mixed games books around, only other one I know is Poker Player's Guide to Mixed Games by Ken Lo which I have been enjoying.

The markets are poor for mixed games after Stars put a cap on mixed games. I used to play mixed then and the Lo book was very good for Low purposes for me but the high part is weak. The high part is in many specific books, especially LHE, NLH (wasn't in Lo's book) and PLO that shouldn't be in a mixed book, really. But just the forms not regularly played.

These days I only play these high games (also for rake reasons not playing most limit nor hilo forms, maybe counting out some tourneys like heads up if they would get action) and almost big omaha, 6+ holdem and PLO8 but especially the last one has still to get more popular or one runs into the lack of games when moving up and it is not necessarily in any mixed games pack and if is, wouldn't wonder if they would deal only big omaha.

The book only covers HORSE + 2-7.
So, nothing new in a book. Get Supersystem and Supersystem 2 instead.

Seems like it's worth at least looking at the table of contents if you're going to make a post like this - it is incorrect. The book covers limit holdem, O8, PLO8, Stud, Razz, Stud8, 2-7 triple draw, badugi, baduecey/badacey, and 2-7 NL Single Draw. A number of these games are not addressed in either Super System.

I have read about 1/2 the book so far and am enjoying it. It covers the fundamentals of each game - focused on starting hands, spots that come up frequently, and common mistakes - with some other nuggets mixed in. It is concise and easy to read. It does not go into great depth for any game, but that is not the point of the book. My only complaint so far would be that it is a little heavy on demonstrative equity calcs where I think some of that page space could have been used to cover additional topics.

That is not true.

Guess you never looked at the book or even it's tabe of contents.

Did your false information and poor opinion come to you in a dream... or what?

My bad, it does covers Badugi, Badacey and Badeucey.
Also, I did buy a book.

Nothing on Dramaha, Archie and many other mixed games.
