Hello everyone,
Was curious to see player’s opinion on JL’s latest tournament book, “Secrets of Profession Tournament Poker, The Essential Guide.”

I love poker and I think of myself as a so-so player, who would like to become a much better tournament player. I mostly play live MTT’s with buy-in’s from $50-$200.

The only books I’ve really read seriously are the 3 original Harrington on Holdem books.

Would you recommend this latest book by JL….and if not, are there any others you could suggest?

Thanks in advance!

I’m about 1/4 way through it and seems to cover many key spots and is certainly a step up from the Harrington series which was good at the time but is now dated. This book was written years back but has been updated for current times.

Hello! I am also interested in feedback regarding the book.

I have Modern poker Theory and it has helped me a lot navigating MTTs with the info there.

Jonathan Little is a big name and I am curious if this book would bring some fresh information to the current game.

Thanks!

It seems to me that watching training videos or classes with a trainer can be much more useful.
