Well, the revolver is better than the 40th pic of someone squeezing pocket aces.

Does anyone know why HEFAP has a horrible suckout on the cover?

Will HOC books be featured in the Two Plus Two Bonuses Program?

It illustrates the benefits of variable raise sizing before the flop.

Not so bad... Pretty much a coin flip post flop.

It came about because many years ago David was associated with the hand eight-three -- it appears on the cover of the original Hold 'em Poker which was first published by Gambler's Book Club, and he said to me casually something like "Make sure you put an eight-three on the cover to represent me and you can have something like an ace-king." So it became our cover and I added the bad beat idea. Ironically, it was years before anyone even commented to us that there was a bad beat on the cover.

best wishes,
Mason

The last time I recall looking at options for 2+2 books it was either ConjelCo or Amazon. Due to craaaazy shipping rates from ConjelCo for one book I always went to Amazon.

Thanks Poker Mike for a more respectable option. Still, I was rather disappointed when I saw the difference between his price and Amazon's. Basically I ended up paying double what I would have paid Amazon. I guess this way I will get the books earlier, but still, the difference is very significant.

All I can hope is that getting the book earlier will mean I will make more money on the table. $40 more than I would otherwise get in 2-3 weeks means it's +EV still, right?

I chose the cheapest shipping option. I hope it doesn't take 30 business days to reach my house.

I could never bring myself to pay $10+ for shipping.

I contacted Amazon.ca the other day and told them that they need to state the book volume number. They simply had the 2 books listed twice as if they were the same volume listed twice.
I see now that they have stated the volume numbers after the title.

I actually just removed the cheapest shipping option for USA customers. The reason is that media mail may take 2-3 weeks to go cross country in the winter and I know I'll hear about it when it does. Doesn't matter that I get it right out the door.

For those that selected media mail already, that is how it will go.

If the majority of the packages go Priority mail it will also make things smoother and faster on the fulfillment front lines as well.
Cheers,
Mike

Yep, placed my order through 2+2 yesterday. Anyone know the shipping time diffence between priority mail and the express option? I cheapskated out and went with priority mail which still cost $11.

I have been waiting for these books ever since they have been announced. The HOH books shaped my game more than any other and I cant wait to see what Action Dan has instore for us with the cash games.

Once the book is released, in the USA Priority mail is 1-4 business days in transit depending on how close you are to Vegas. Express is 1-2 business days in transit, usually 1.
