Agreed. I love Amazon, partly because of discounts and good service and partly because of their excellent used book/CD system.

But Poker Mike's service is just too good to ignore. I'll buy poker books through him. He gets new books in faster than Amazon does I believe.

QFT. While everyone's waiting for it to hit the big chains, I had Kill Everyone on my doorstep the day after it was released. Just buy from him, it's worth the extra dollars...

ït's only like a five quid price difference though, it's £40 (including shipping) if you pre-order both from 2+2 store

You guys have this all wrong.

Mason, you must immediately increase the price of these books to no less than $45.00 each. $65.00 each would be even better. And Mike, you must cease all discount programs.

We want as few people as possible to read these books.
Phydaux I dont think we have much to worry about. To start with this is not donkfest material.
Second cash games are just starting to catch on and will equal donkfests in the near future in popularity but not just quite yet.
Third how many do we actually think will put all the concepts etc. in their game.????

Wait until closer to its release and then clear bonuses and get them as part of the 5 free books offer!

Ok, now US readers can start reading again,

I was wondering just a few days ago if the Harrington Cash series would really max their return at standard pricing. I mean his tourney books are STILL the best-selling poker books according to Amazon, and I can't see anyone passing these up if they play NLHE and read any books at all.

Thank-you!
I get them the same day 2+2 gets them and that gives me a 2-4 week lead on other internet based outlets and chain stores.

The cover art is now up. Discount code HOC22 for an additional 5% off.

SYNOPSIS:
Pre-release orders now accepted. The first years of the poker boom were fueled by the interest in no-limit hold em tournaments. Recently, however, players have been gravitating to another, even more complex form of hold em no-limit cash games. In Harrington on Cash Games: Volume I, Dan Harrington teaches you the key concepts that drive deep-stack cash game play. You ll learn how to tailor your selection of starting hands to your stack size, how to recognize the increasing deception value of supposedly weaker hands as the stack sizes increase, and how to use the concept of pot commitment to your advantage as the size of the pot grows. After laying out the general concepts behind deep-stack cash game play, Harrington shows you a complete strategy for post-flop play, and then teaches you the difference between post-flop play against a single opponent and post-flop play against multiple opponents. If you play no-limit hold em cash games, you need to read this book. Harrington on Cash Games: Volume II continues where Volume I left off. In sections on turn and river play, Harrington explains why these are the most important streets in no-limit hold em, and shows how to decide when to bet or check, when to call or fold, and when to commit all your chips. In later sections, Harrington shows how to play a looser and more aggressive style, how to make the transition from online to live games, and how to extract the maximum profit from very low-stakes games. Volume II concludes with an interview with Bobby Hoff, considered by many the best no-limit cash game player of all times, who shares some of his secrets and insights. Dan Harrington won the gold bracelet and the World Champion title at the $10,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold em Championship at the 1995 World Series of Poker. And he was the only player to make the final table in 2003 (field of 839) and 2004 (field of 2,576) considered by cognoscenti to be the greatest accomplishment in WSOP history. In Harrington on Cash Games, Harrington and two-time World Backgammon Champion Bill Robertie have written the definitive books on no-limit cash games. These books will teach you what you need to know to be a winner in the cash game world.

It's probably too late to change, but shouldn't volume 1 be the blue one and volume 2 be the reddish one so that they follow the coloring order in the other Harrington books?

Now watch, this will cause a two month delay in shipping the books and I'll have to live with that for the rest of my life.

Don't worry. If these books get delayed because of your post, "the rest of my life" won't be all that long.

god i loathe the artwork. i know the girl got second in the PNL contest, but she only joined 2p2 so she could participate in the contest. And now, for her second-best effort, she's being rewarded with the cover-spot on a book that will ultimately out-sell and be more visible than the book for which she was originally competing? it must be backwards day at camp down syndrome.

in short, i think we could give Gonso some crayons and a cocktail napkin, shoot him down a toboggan run, and he would most assuredly come out with a better-looking set of covers.

Why don't you tell us what you really think? That's a bit heavy isn't it?

I don't mind it, it's a bit different, although they could lose the stack of chips at the bottom.
