For those who have read the newer book as well as the original three, given the choice would you recommend reading the original series or the newer single volume? Thanks.

I have read Harrington on Hold'em Volume One to Three and Harrington on Modern Tournament Poker. Honestly, I liked the original three more because it provided me a greater foundation for tournament play than Modern did for me. However, after you read the original three and absorb the material, you will need to find podcasts, subscriptions, training sites, etc. for dealing with advanced concepts and current tournament trends.

Is there anything to gain from reading the Harrington on Modern Poker Book, after reading and studying the original 3 books that is?

Or would you recommend looking elsewhere after reading the original series?

There is something to be gained, but I have found that watching poker on Twitch or getting a subscription to a website helps more as it brings some current information to what players are doing now in tournaments.
