Just looking at the description, it doesn't look like there is anything new that isn't already covered in depth with existing tournament books.

With anything poker it's hard to judge, if you get even 1 or 2 new things you take with you to incorporate into your game it'll be worth it

I'm 200 pages in (out of 250) but I don't have anything to compare to since this is the first book I have been thoroughly reading through (all of the other books I have just read bits and pieces and never end up getting really deep into). But, with that said, I feel this a really solid book. Anyone else read yet?

This book says that it's a GTO mistake to ever not cbet a flop vs one opponent. I thought that was hilarious, so I got a refund on the book.

One of Lee Nelson's books agrees with Raymer in a tournament situation with no read on the villian.

Edit: The book is Let's Play Poker.

Are you sure Lee Nelson was discussing GTO? Because GTO never has anything to do with reads on the villain.

Saying you have a 100% cbet strategy when readless is fine. Saying that strategy is GTO is wrong. Also, looks like Nelson's book came out 12 years before Raymer's (were poker players even discussing GTO in 2007?), which makes errors like that more understandable.

"Let's play poker" is pretty much like a condensed version of "Kill Everyone" which was and still is considered one of the better books on tournament poker.

That's fine, I'm not doubting that Lets Play Poker is a good book (I haven't read it), but GTO doesn't mean "good strategy". You can't just say something is GTO because it works well. Also, I'm still doubting that the book from 2007 would even be claiming that a strategy is GTO. Solvers didn't even exist then. Will Tipton wasn't even using his own primitive software until 5 years after that, and even some of his conclusions were incorrect.

Mr. Nelson never mentions GTO in the book.
