"Harrington on Holdem 1 and 2," 2009 edition.
There was also a copy of "Omaha Holdem Poker (New Expanded Edition)" by Bob Ciaffone, a 1990 title that appears to have been self published.
I was never much for poker books, although many years ago when I was getting involved in online poker I read "SuperSystem," "Harrington on Holdem," and a couple of Cloutier-McEvoy titles, all courtesy of the local public library.
I wonder if anyone thinks these titles retain any utility after as much as 30 years.
I haven't really looked at any of them yet, but I suspect that the Ray Zee title might still be somewhat relevant, and that there may be a few nuggets of wisdom in Mr. Malmuth's collection of essays. I suspect that the least useful of all would be Harrington on Holdem, despite being the most recent title by almost 20 years.
What do you think?
Ray Zee´s book is the Bible for these games and I am sure there will be, as you say, some nuggets of wisdom in Mason Malmuth´s book.
