i am about two-thirds of the way through the book. alex is a good writer who communicates his ideas well. i've certainly gotten some value out of the book.

does the book really focus on live play? I don't like reading books with the stats, HUD,etc... as I only play live.

yes. live play. no HUD stats. geared more toward tournaments, but there is value for cash games as well.
