What books are essential reading for someone who wants to put time and dedication in to become an elite player?
I recently purchased Applications of No Limit Holdem, and it's fantastic. I would appreciate suggestions of books like this, in that they are relevant and up-to-date with modern strategy and developments.
Advanced Concepts by Hunter Cincy is a good book.
Dynamic Full Ring Poker by James Sweeney is also fantastic; however, it is a bit dated.
The Course, Playing the Player and How to Read Hands are all very good by Ed Miller.

PNLHE
These are all MUST reads but also are dated, but timeless also so who cares.
Coming out very soon is The Theory of Poker updated for NLHE. How could you ever go wrong with an updated version of the best pure poker book ever written?
