Dynamic Full Ring Poker- Beyond the Basics is a new Daily Variance release. The author is listed as James ‘SplitSuit’ Sweeney.

I believe the author makes videos for a training site.

Is the author's screen name public knowledge?

97 seems a bit high when Poker Blueprint could be preordered for 29 way back when but liked your vids on Stox so I'm sure it'll be good.

Hmmm so it's like 350+ pages looking at the preview on the DV site, I take back my comment, I think this one is gonna be worth it, especially because just because Blueprint was one price doesn't devalue this one. If it's worth 1 buyin for a 100NL FR grinder I think it seems like a safe bargain.

Split - how applicable do you think this will be to typical small stakes live games, B&M especially?

Any chance you guys can format the book to an e-reader type? ( .epub, .mobi, etc), E-readers can read PDFs ok but the zooming make it so it can be difficult to read if the text is too small. If you create such an option i would consider making the purchase.

this is for Full Ring im assuming? or will 6max grinders get some good pointers out of it?

IMO Daily Variance is the industry leader for published poker training resources.

glad that the excerpt changed your mind on the pricing/valuation =) I think the other 85% of the book is also solid lol

very imo. I teach thought process in this book (the "why" versus the "what")...so while some of the parameters may change (both from live to online and current games to future games)...you will understand how to adjust and create lines given new conditions. at least...that was my goal when writing it. But I honestly think it will help live players as well without question

I will pass that along to DV support =)

Yes, this is a FR book...but like i said above, I teach the "why" in this book...so long as you extrapolate a lil from it (as FR conditions are different than 6max conditions)...i think you will def get something out of it. If nothing else, chapters like SDV, the adjustment chapters, etc. will apply very well

Split- I am deciding between the ebook version and the paperback. I like paperbacks just because of portability and the ability to read anywhere, even when I dont' have my comp. However I know in the past DV has released edited versions of their books when they make corrections, etc. How "finalized" do you antcipate thjis book being?

ive gone through the book about 6 times myself, had my editors go through it twice each, and had a few other sets of eyes on it...I would like to think it is very finalized...or at least I hardly anticipate any versions that aren't just minor grammatical things. you could always do both versions and then god-forbid there is a new version just print the new ebook.

hopefully that helps, lol

Its RIGGIGGITY on FT
7curse on PS

PTR shows he's a marginal winner, but he seems to articulate the game well enough that people respect his game

PTR doesn't show beating the games healthily... +9 buyins at 100NL FR in 134k hands? I like the look of the book and everything, just strange. I mean I know, PTR inaccuracies, etc etc...

please ask split for his database. he is a solid 2BB winner over a decent sample size.
