I haven't bought any new poker books in 10+ years and I don't like watching instructional videos much (I barely watch any TV or movies either, I just find it incredibly boring and hard to follow). So I could use a few up to date books on NLHE, be it tactics or the mental game or whatever. I'd like some new ideas and concept to introduce to my game and I like reading.

Any particular recommendations?

I'll take a guess:

Modern Poker Theory - Michael Acevedo
Play Optimal Poker 1 & 2 - Andrew Brokos
Secrets of Professional Tournament Poker - Jonathan Little
The Mental Game of Poker 1 & 2 - Jared Tendler

^ Love that list. Think it's worth mentioning that while it's definitely good to use your preferred content format where possible, there is definitely a wayyyyyy lower ceiling on how much you can improve your game with the available books compared to with video, training sites, solvers, and 1:1 training. If you're mostly recreational though that probably doesn't matter

I would classify myself as a winning recreational nowadays. I used to play NL100 and NL200 professionally many years ago, when it was super easy. But those times are gone now, an average NL10 reg of today would have made some serious money 15 years ago or at least a good living.

I'm up about 5000€ from poker this year, which is nice but could be improved I think. I have no real desire to become a pro anymore though, it's just a hobby for me now.

Playing professionally is mentally very taxing. Plus I don't think I simply got the raw talent to become as good as a professional should be nowadays. I'm just a micro grinder who makes a bit extra from poker.
