Thinking of getting back into poker, how relevant are these books in today's games?

Haven't played in about a year and a half. At the time I was a 3-4bb winner at 25NL over about 15k hands, and a 4-5bb/hr winner at 1/3 live (I think over 400 hours but I could be super off on this stat)

I feel like getting back into it, likely playing at those exact stakes. Before I get back into re-reading everything though, I was wondering how relevant these books are to today's games:

- Professional No Limit Holdem vol.1 by Ed Miller Matt Flynn & Sunny Mehta
- Applications of No Limit Holdem by Matthew Janda
- Harrington on Cash Games vol 1 & 2
- Mental Game of Poker by Jared Tendler
- No Limit Hold Em Theory & Practice by Ed Miller & David Sklansky
- Poker's 1% by Ed Miller
- Expert Heads Up No Limit Holdem vol 1 & 2 by Will Tipton

Which ones are worth going back to read again?

And are there any books out now worth reading?

Janda. But his second book is a better (and easier) read, imo.

Games are town or even room specific. If you want to get back into poker, then rail the online games you’d be playing and take notes or just go play live, take notes, and do session reviews.

What you could benefit from a book is dependent on how well you could extract the authors ability to learn and analyze what they’ve seen and then apply that to your own study.

Basically, you have to write your own dayum book for the specific game you play.
