I saw that Mathew Janda has a new book out. I wanted to know if applications of no limit is and outdated book, should i just go ahead and buy no limit for advanced players?

I own both. The first is a more theoretical work than the same. It certainly isn't outdated in my opinion.

Only the preflop section in Applications aged badly but the rest of the concepts are sound. If you're only going to buy one Matthew suggests to buy the new one.
