I have been playing poker for over 15 years. Over the past 5 years, I have focused on live MTT's, ranging from the $65 daily turbos to WPT, WSOP, PNIA, and Card player circuit events. I used to be a pretty decent player, with a pretty solid understanding of odds, EV, ranging players, etc. Now I find that either I am running extremely bad, the game has passed me by, or that I am playing too much by muscle memory and not really thinking things through. I find that I am likely not 3betting enough, not 3 bet calling enough, and not barrelling enough (though, when I do the math, I can't usually justify the risk). Circuit pros tend to size me up fairly quickly and realize that I have a pretty big gap between my open range and 3bet calling range and usually pressure me. This has led to me going deepish, usually top 10 to 20 percent, but having no chips and usually not making the bubble.

I have read many poker books, but not really a lot of the current ones.

Any recommendations on what books would be a good way to levelset my game with the more modern way of playing. I am currently reading Kill Everyone, but I am not sure if that book is still applicable. Should I jump straight to Janda's latest book, or do I need to work through Applications first?

As far as tourneys are cash, the Applications (preflop (or in his latest book), hand examples) gets the GTO set up (time has clearly passed you) and when it comes to tourneys, to name a single source, the one hand at the time books focus especially on 3-bet situations when it comes to stack sizes.
