I liked over grey the best.

The main image is very good and over grey with the slight shadowing gives it some depth. The green embossed background was a bit too busy for me.

the heat mapping is backwards also... red means hot, it should be at the top.

Not heat mapping, playable ranges. Red = fold.

My first entry. Was working on another idea for a few days but I scrapped it because I don't think what I had in mind fit the title.

Anyways, here's my first entry

All images used are 100% my own, except for the 2+2 things from the draft we was given etc.

Also click this link for the extra large view http://i.imgur.com/QPFz1.jpg
Please note the quality has been reduced by the Image host, and is of course of a much better quality.

Isn't that pretty much the old cover 2+2 used for the Feeney book ?

Are you on about this?

Googled ''feeney poker'' and that's what came up, how is that pretty much the same?

Just my first entry anyway cos my first idea didn't fit the theme. We'll count that as my warm up

I don't distinguish a difference here. it's definitely a heat map with inverted values... red being hot or the best.

Nash Equilibrium can be accurately described in this fashion(heat map)

Thanks for the feedback. I just switched the colors around so we can see how that looks as well, no harm in submitting both versions

It's been years ago since I've read the Feeney book just remembered that it was lots of blue and a head with the brain showing.

Po'tay'to po'ta'to ... you know

I think the submission is too close to Feeney's book to be useable.

^ Fair enough, I've never read any poker books so I've never seen any covers. Only books I've read is Biographys Matusows/Devil Fish's etc

I'll roll a couple more entries in soon

Lots of good competition so far, but I will give it a try. My concept is to try to tie in a game theory outline/diagram for the book with the front cover. I decided to try 2 different color settings that are listed below:
