So obviously im very happy to be able to provide the cover of Phil's new book. Honestly the colored fractals illustration was one of my secret horses. Yeah, the advice was great but I have to admit that I just went ahead and ordered five various books. I have a pretty large poker book library as it is but there were certainly some 2+2 books that will make good additions to my collection – who knows, I might even learn something!

Also, I know that I will wind up purchasing a whack of books that have my cover anyway – highly unlikely that five will be enough!

I missed the jousting cover and didn't see it until Mason announced it as one of the winners, but I agree with him that it lends itself quite well to a book on tournament poker.

Thanks Doc T River, Harrington on Holdem were the first poker books I ever read so it's cool that it's going towards his next one.

We submit the stuff to Amazon and then it's up to them. So I can't really give a specific answer.

We have one more winner.

Mason kindly donated use of Fundamentals of Poker to PPA. PPA will use this promotionally, giving new, renewing, and current paid PPA members free downloads of the PPA e-edition of the book. Later, we'll likely print up some actual physical books for similar purposes.

As it's a new edition with some customizations, it needs a great cover. Looking through this thread, I found many terrific covers, but one really stood out. It matched up perfectly with the theme of the book, PPA's mission, and PPA's color schemes. We've even used a chip with the PPA logo in the center, similar to this design:

OMGuraBOT's cover design really works in this application. Additionally, he's a terrific supporter of the fight for poker and generously donated his efforts and considerable talents to the effort:
