so I have paid no attention to online sites the past 6 years...so what's the criticism of ACR?

Getting back into live play after 10 years off - I used to grind 25NL to polish up my game for live 2-5NL and it worked pretty well. Now it looks like HUDs (US player) are a thing of the past so using that data to shore up holes in my game isn't an option. What's the best way to get my game back up to speed in this new and terrifying HUD-free world? Poker site/training site/app/2+2 thread recommendations appreciated.

Play less tables and take copious notes

If online poker is ever federally legalized in this country, you'll see all of that rakeback, and promotion stuff come back as well. Sites will have to adapt, or die at that point.
funny you sound like if there are no americans there is no consumer ''pressure''

whats so special about you, ''americans'' ?

We invented the game and over half the population plays in small home games at least occasionally. Make the game officially legal (it actually is now, but these type of people don't understand/want to risk it) and you have a mass influx of new (bad) players again.

Did anything ever happen with Lock Poker? Seems like the CEO et al just disappeared into oblivion.

Mostly game integrity issues regarding bots and collusion in cash games, STTs and MTTs. There are software issues as well. There's a long standing bug which sometimes plays the "your turn to act" sound over and over nonstop when it is in fact not your turn to act, and after many many software updates they still have not fixed this bug. Also apparently users have been asking for a long time for the software to show the loser's mucked cards at showdown and apparently it was promised at one time, but not followed through on.

Apparently ACR has new software coming sometime, no idea when. No idea if the alert sound bug or mucked cards request will be addressed.

Seems like most players think ACR isn't doing enough to combat bots, but on the plus side cashouts are very fast once your account is verified. Protip: deposit and cashout via bitcoin.

I've seen baseless accusations of super users with zero evidence provided.

ACR also used to have either a sponsored forum or thread here on twoplustwo but their partnership with twoplustwo was ended, because, if I remember correctly, Mason/2p2 wanted to see some sort of transparency and progress addressing the issue of game integrity, and ACR essentially quit communicating with 2p2, so now the ACR/WPN discussion thread in the zoo (Internet Poker) is unofficial and is not sanctioned or whatever by 2p2.

You can use HUDs on ACR. Don't think you can on Ignition. Not sure about other sites.
