What is a fair deal for bringing players to a poker stable? What is a fair deal for bringing players to a poker stable?

I actively work towards bringing players (whose 1st language is not english and especially beginners skillwise) to play for a stable that has its library mainly in English, meaning, I translate many things that the stable asks me to translate, I speak with the candidates before applying and answer their questions, I help them through the application process, give support to them on things like setting up pokertracker or how to navigate on the stable forum, managing a stable“s non english social network, etc.

For this, they give me 4% of whatever they make from the horses“ winnings, ie smth from 2% to 0.8% of horses“winnings (stable offers their horses smth from 50% to 80% deals)

As I have no clue on what a fair deal is on this kind of job, would like to know opinion“s on guys with some kind of experience on it.

No money per se from my pocket, so far I only spend time on it, which is around 10 hours every week on work relating to this thing.

Well, how much do they pay you per hour on average and how much could you make in a different job that requires a similar skill set in your country?

So far I haven“t earned anything from this after 4 months (nor has the stable I am told) and only around 5 players were brought by me , so I just rely on the hope of bringing a player that will evolve into a gud winning player and him start making over 500 usd/monthly after a 6o to 12 months of joining stable.

This kind of job on my country probly only pays minimum wage which is around 0.65 usd/hour

I think you're being undervalued, but I'm not exactly sure what fair compensation would be. I probably wouldn't accept less than maybe 10% as an affiliate commission as a minimum, and would push for more (say 20-25%). 4% of stable profit is kind of a joke.

I have experience doing coaching, management, and various odd-jobs for a small/medium sized stable and from my experience you should push for a lot when making these deals. The stable wants to maximize their profits, so it's up to you to look out for yourself when negotiating with them.

I would make friends with the recruits and make sure the stable isn't stiffing you.

You could also ask for a small premium per head as well, like $5, perhaps with the deal that this is a paycheck loan paid back when the royalties start kicking in.

U mean me getting $5 in advance from the stable everytime I bring in any player, and then this $5 get deducted from my 1st eventual payment from the player in question?

If so, does it make sense to ask for that premium to be variable depending on the player skill and experience?

U mean not to accept less than 10% of stable profit and fight my way to get as close as possible to 20-25% of stable profit?

Yes. If the stable is a bit leery about that, I would consider offering a 6 or 12 month time limit on referral earnings, maybe.
