Hello everyone, I have a little question. I am trying to maximize profit to be able to jump to the next buy-in level. I am a bit lazy about what I think is the best "configuration" to reach that jump as soon as possible. I need some advice.

Right now I have 2 bank rolls PS/888. Ps is the "important" one, where by playing 85% sng 15% Mtts I have been trying to grow it with good results. 888 is the "secondary" bankroll where I'm playing STT's only since this year, the idea is to grow it to $5/$7 BI STT's and then starting to get money to use in life. Ps bankroll won't be used to get money until I get to the "low" stakes or maybe "medium"

What I THINK is the best configuration is this: My screen can support only 9 tables. The ideal configuration of tables to profit the best I can in my mind is this:

1- 180p Sng --- 2- 180p Sng --- 3- MTT
4- 45p Sng --- 5- 45p Sng --- 6- 45p Sng
7- STT --------- 8- STT --------- 9- STT

I only play regular sits. What I mean with this is: Is correct in terms of "profitability" to play much more 45p sits than Mtts and 180p sits in general?

I have been realy lazy about this, and always played more 180p and MTTs than 45p, but I my ROI at 45p Sng is the bigger one, 180p is 10% less than 45p and Mtts is almost negative.

So the question would be: In general-long run terms is better to play more 45p than others? is this "always 3 tables 45p on screen" enough?

This is some pretty deep thinking .. good for you!

1) Play the type of games that are profitable for you based on the amount of time you can commit to playing. You obviously don't want to start a 180SNG when you are late into your session.

2) When I played heavy online, I would stagger the start of a 9SNG by 'x' minutes to try and prevent being HU on multiple tables at the same time. Certainly not a fool proof system, but it seemed to work. Restaurants use the same principal by balancing the seating from station to station to prevent one worker from having all their tables at the same stage of their stay simultaneously. GL

If you have a good enough sample, ditch all your MTTs and ditch every 180 unless the 45s aren't running fast enough to fill the screen.

That won't be good for my mind I think. I don't win a 180p everyday but when I end up top 3, or I get a good deep run in an Mtt It gives me 2 things: big bank jump + energy to continue playing with love.

Grinding only 45p will be more profitable in terms of cash but not good for concentration or emotion. I mean, it would be like "money" is the only important thing. It is, but mixing it with some fun/emotion/big reward maybe helps a lot. Without that I would be playing cash I think.

Or maybe I am worng and wasting time, is possible.

I thought profitability had something to do with money. I have no idea what your ideal would be if you add in subjective requirements since they are... you know... subjective. If you like to play a game then you should play it but in the OP you clearly state you're trying to maximize profit and in that sense, there is no use for suboptimal games on your screen.

You are right. Somehow I think playing something else can help to improve profit by keeping you in a better mental state. Im looking for the best "balance"

Also I played like 4 or 5 mtts a day, that is maybe not enough to believe I'm losing at them, and maybe having 1 on, all the time, ends up in profitability the day I go deep on it.
