What are the most buy-ins you have lost in NLHE online poker in one session/one day, and at what limit?

What would you attribute this to? Bad luck? Bad play on your part? Bad beats?

Did you play any different during this downswing?

Were you able to recoup part or all of your losses in the same session?

Ofcourse, if you watch out on what you doing and where your mistakes were you will recoup part of it.

Are you saying you lost 350 buy-ins in one session? I don't think so. Hope not!

Let me change this up a little. How many tables do you usually play and how many buy-ins will you go for each table in one session?

I usually quit if the bad beats are coming too thick and fast for my emotions to cope with.
I remember one day where I lost 2 buyins in my first 4 hands, but I played for another 200 hands or so, before taking a break. After the break, I lost 2 buyins in my first 11 hands, so I decided to quit a few minutes later, as it was "just one of those days", and I could think of a million other things that would be more fun. On a session a few years ago, I was down 4 buyins after 45 hands. It was just ridiculous.
For the serious grinders (pros that have to get the volume in), losing 10-20 buy-ins in one day is rare, but not unheard of. For tourney players, dropping 10-20 buy-ins on a random Sunday session might even be "standard". (Years ago, Mike Watson - one of the best live MTT players - entered 53 events at the WSOP. He bricked every single one.)

Wow, thanks for feedback. I'm still deciding how many I'd be willing to go for.
