This is a situation in which I have a lot of trouble. It's a live 1-3 game and I'm in late position and there are 2 or 3 limpers in front of me. I look down and have middle suited connectors. ie...56s - 89s. So I call. Then the BB or LB raise. It's folded back to me? What do you folks do to determine the best action. In other words, I'm not sure what the odds I should be getting to make it a call. Thank in advance for the help.

General advice: Don't overlimp if you already know somebody behind you will raise and you don't want to call that raise. Save $3 and move on.

If you limped and somebody raises behind you, there's multiple deciding factors. Is the raiser in position or out of position? How big is the raise? How many of the other players call the raise? What are the stacksizes?

Two limps to you, you limp, button raises:
a) Raise to to 3BB, both other limpers call. Stacks are 100BB deep.
b) Raise is to 9BB, everybody else folds and stacks are 30BB deep.

One situation is an easy call, the other one an easy fold.

if you are a beginner, you can just fold those hands. As you get better, you can start raising in those spots, but don't limp along, contrary to popular belief suited connectors are not good limp candidates (if you really want to have a limping range, use suited aces and low pockets)
