HI! I'm in Mountain Standard Time (MST) zone in the U.S. and looking to join or form a small study group of serious poker players. I'm looking for people who also live in the same time zone as I am (for easy scheduling or coordinating of online meetings). Also, I'm looking for serious players who are committed to continually improving their game.

Of course, we can always consult our poker buddies; but the questions are: do we really want to reveal our heart and souls to people we regularly play with, compete with, and take our money away? isn't poker is all about collecting information against other players and use that information to our advantage? Can they really give us an objective and valuable opinions? or is their level of thinking (game) the same or below us? If that's the case, then what else can we learn from them to help us improve our game?

Of course, forums like in this site can help us a lot; however, if you are like me, who want to address their own issues and concerns based on their own unique strengths, weaknesses, and situation... we want something more customized according to our own unique needs, wants, and preferences. I'm looking for positive people who are focusing on solutions rather than their problems (bad beats).

And YES! let's not forget about poker coaches... yes, they are great! I strongly believe that everyone needs a mentor (whether it's in life or in poker). The question is... are we already in that level wherein we can afford to pay for coaching? I believe that... hiring or paying for coaches is likes obtaining your master's degree... you need to have your bachelor's degree first and earning enough money to pay for your master's degree (coaching). I don't know about you, but I'm still working on my bachelor's degree and can't afford to pay for my master's degree, yet.

I am looking for a small group of people I don't normally play with; preferrably far away from me and will remain anonymously so we cannot use any information against each other at the table (if and when we play at the same table).

A LITTLE INFORMATION ABOUT ME: I took poker seriously in 2012. Before that, I was (and still am) committed to self-improvement (personal growth & development). I am retired and don't have a regular job. I feel blessed and lucky that I can treat poker as a business (whenever I travel) and as a part-time job (locally). I travel to play tournaments (as well as cash games); that includes WSOP and circuit events every year.

HOW WE CAN DO THIS: We can use Google Hangouts for video conferencing including screen sharing and file sharing (collaboration). I prefer Google Hangout because we have an option to save it on YouTube for private later viewing or references.

So, if you are interested in improving your game or have a small group (no more than 5), please, drop me a private message right away so we can get started. I have ebooks and audio books I can share with others.
