Starting With Small Stakes MTTs

Hello, I'm just curious as to what a good amount to start with as an inital deposit if I'm going to be starting slow with small stakes MTTs on ignition. I don't play ring so I will be strictly MTT.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ignition doesn't have a ton of tournaments under $11, so I'd stick with around a $1,000 deposit and mix in everything under $11 and the high value $11 tournaments as well.

You will likely find better volume on the weekends and in the evenings (there tend to be more recreational players involved then). During the week and daytime expect to see more of the full-time online grinders.
Most sites will have their larger-field and promotional tournaments on the weekends.

Ok thank you. I have a normal day job so it will mainly be a weekend venture for me until I can see some kind of value in going full time.

I don't do much socially so been looking to start poker to keep myself occupied through the weekends
