I mainly played on stars. I play mostly low to some medium stakes mtt. I then started to play a bit on party and 888. Previously i did not do this because the software was really bad for party.



I know people dislike stars because of what they have done such as the payouts and the rake etc. However, stars to me still is the best site because of the software, gtds and because it takes much faster to be ITM than the other 2 sites. I know the payout structure on party and 888 is a lot better than stars. But what i notice especially with 888 poker is it takes a really long time to be itm. Also they have a few deepstack tournaments where it takes at least 4.5 hours to be ITM. Now i know deepstack take longer to be ITM... but when you have less than 200 players or say 400 players in a tournament, does anyone here think its ridiculous for it to take 4.5 to 5 hours to be ITM? Seems like way too long.



Also on partypoker, they have fast tournaments. But the thing is these tournaments... they still take at least 3 hours to be ITM. Thus a regular tournament on stars takes the same to be ITM as a fast tournament on party. Turbo i believe is just a bit faster but of course a party turbo is no where like a stars turbo.



But is there a reason why anyone chooses to play on party or 888 but specifically 888? I heard party has lot of bots and stables. On 888, i know there is less players as smaller player pool. But from what i seen at the low to mid stakes mtt on 888, these are very reg infested. So why would anyone choose to play on a site like 888? Its not only smaller fields... but more regs. I notice so many same names on 888 playing the low and some medium stakes mtt there. Isn't that a combination of the worst mtt to play on?



At least on stars, you have big field mtt so your table could be lot of non regs easily. People back then always said stars was the toughest but that no longer applies you say to mtt right? On party, i notice lot of regs playing and even some very good players are playing 22 dollar tournaments on party. There were some players that use to play on wsop years ago who i notice their screenname playing 22 dollar mtt.

Anyone have opinion on this? Im really confused why so many players seem to go to 888. The thing that i dont like about 888 is not only is the late reg for tournaments so long... but you play deepstack for a long time. Then when its close to the bubble or after the bubble, its basically a turbo. Thus when it matters, the stack size is like a turbo. There is stalling etc around the bubble much more than stars or party. Example average stack size is 15bb after the bubble. Its basically a push/fold. Yet stars and party when they tournament is not a turbo, the avg stack is bigger than 888. And 888 late reg and itm takes the longest of all.



In terms of toughest, do you guys agree its party, stars, 888
or party, 888 and then stars?



I always hear people say 888 is soft. I mean i can imagine it being soft if you are playing like 5.50 and below. But even at the 8.80 and up buyins, there are lot of regs. I mean the 16.50 and 33 big fish has tons of regs and names i see over and over. I know 888 is the smallest site of the 3 but i always recall smaller fields are usually the worst mtt to play. And 888 seems to have that... small fields and many regs.

havent you learnt? online poker on any site is rigged. don't play online.

Serious replies on this? Im curious why so many regs seem to play on 888 when it seems to be low fields and most players seem to be regs.

Does anyone know why anyone bothers playing on 888? I see so many regulars in 888. I mean there is basically no rakeback there. Of course smaller player pool but players seem much better than on stars.
