I made a YouTube video a few months ago that I think would be good for beginners. Thoughts?

"The Secret to Winning Texas Hold'em" https://youtu.be/0kVnoMz2pJA

Thanks

Here is a good rule of thumb. Any time you see a video with the word secret ?
Just keep moving to the next video.

I'll throw my two cents into the hat in the ring:

1. There is no "secret" to winning poker tournaments. Working harder than other people gives you an advantage over them. Being more naturally talented than other people gives you an advantage over them.
2. I believe that a person who knows nothing about poker could watch your video, start playing free bar and/or low-buyin tournaments and immediately start doing reasonably well.
3. What I would encourage you to do is keep taking your video to additional levels. Some specific suggestions:
a. Go into more detail about the assumptions upon which your video is based and why they work. For example you are assuming that most of the players are not great or tricky players (a totally valid assumption at those stakes). You are assuming that they will call with KQ when you have AA (again, not a terrible assumption).
b. Go into a bit more detail about just how brutal variance can be in tournaments. For example, usually only the top 15% or top 10% make the money, therefore an average player will cash in approximately 1 out of every 7 tournaments they play. A player who is 15% better than the average player will cash in 1 out of every 6 or whatever (too lazy to do the actual math). If 100 players enter the tournaments, an average player will win 1 out of every 100, so a player who's TWICE as good as the average player will win 1 out every 50 tournaments.
c. Use this to show people how lucky they got if they cashed in 3 or 4 or 5 tournaments in a row. That's like KK sucking out on AA 2 or 3 times in a row (again, too lazy to do the math, but these improbabilities can be calculated).
d. Read books like Harrington on Hold'Em's series, Kill Phil, The Raiser's Edge or others that people will recommend. Compare their advice to yours, decide for yourself which is better, or against what types of players they will work against.
e. Continue playing lots and lots and lots and lots of tournaments and KEEP TRACK OF YOUR RESULTS. Not just results, but after a tournament write down 2 or 3 memorable hands. That way as you continue to write and make videos you'll be able to introduce your own anecdotes.
f. Participate in the low-stakes tournament forums regularly. If you say you're playing a bar tournament you might get chastized by the real-money snobs occasionally, but MOST people know what the conditions are like in those tournaments and can give you realistic advice.

TL;DR: Your video is fine as a starting point, but that's all it is - a starting point. Continue to play, continue to read, continue to post, continue to study. The more you do so the more you'll be able to refine your future videos.

TL;DR2: The main thing that worries me about your video is that so many people there's an alternative to hard work and experience. People don't want to spend literally years studying and playing - they want a "magic bullet" or a "quick fix" that they can learn in a few minutes and instantly be the best player in the room. Not gonna happen. The problem is, thousands of people are reading the same quick fix. What edge do you have over those thousands of people? Answer: You're willing to put in the years of hard work and they're not.

Hope that helped

@DalTXColtsFan Thank you for your insight and suggestions. This is the type of feedback I was looking for!! I posted the video as a "Note to self, but figured someone with more knowledge and resources could take the info and run with it. I'll work on tweaking and updating the video with your suggestions.
