Hi There,
I play on Ignition. It is an anonymous site so you cannot collect data on Specific players just as they cannot collect info on you.
However, the ability to see the hole cards of every player for every hand is an interesting study tool. It allows you to get a true sense for how the population is playing, the type of laydowns they are willing to make, and the bluffs the can have in their ranges. And you figure this out in fewer hands than if you were only getting this info at showdown.
In a recent micro stakes strategy thread I mentioned that I have often folded big hands in spots that "Villain just has to have it" because "nobody would ever take that line as a bluff" only to see them with some random junk as a stone bluff when I download the HH the next day.
I had to be careful, because seeing this has caused me to become a bit of a station at times. But it has helped me get an understanding of what the player pool is really doing.
I know this has gotten away from the topic a bit but after seeing the hole cards in HH I have come to the conclusion that in the games I play, in any given hand, there is always a ~5% chance someone is doing something absolutely ridiculous.
