Should I stop doing this? Should I stop doing this?

Hi everyone!!! These days I took a pretty good beating at 5 nl(around 5 or 6 buy ins for 3 hours) and now I am trying to figure out if it was my fault or just bad luck.I will post some hands in micro stakes for analysis but here I want to ask you something else. Very often when I am in SB or BB and the button opens pre for 2-3bb and I have Ax suited or A 10 + I like to reraise . I am not saying that I do it every time but it is quite often. And if he calls and the flop is dry (let's say J 3 8 rainbow) I am making c bet. That usually works (they either fold pre or on the flop after the cbet). But yesterday I just got crushed buy 4 bets pre or large reraise post flop. Do I have to try to minimize those kind of plays? I know it depends on the opponents but still some general advice will be helpful

They could have noticed you're doing it too often or too light. They could have had good hands. Over a sample size of "yesterday" we really don't have a clue

Ax suited and A10+ shouldn't be grouped together and played in the same way from the bb. My default strategy with A10+ would be to 3bet a btn opener. I'm mostly flatting with the raggy Ax hands.

Generally you should be c-betting a lot of dry flops, sure, but hold back on the c-betting if your opponent tends to have a low fold-to-c-bet ratio.

I might do the opposite vs certain opponents.

AT+ is often ahead of the button raiser's range. They'll fold A2-A9 to the 3-bet but if you flat you have an edge when an A flops.

When you have A-rag and 3-bet, the raiser will fold a decent portion of their range that will play well against you post flop when you flat.

What is your goal? To avoid losing pots or to win chips?

The first step here is to know if your play is winning or losing chips over the long term.

Well...the probelm is that I don't use any tracking software and I don't know if my cbets are winning or losing play.
When I 3 bet from bb with Ax and the flop misses me but is very dry I make c bet and my goal is to win the pot right here if the flop missed my opp either. If I hit something and think that I am ahead I value bet . So I play pretty straightforward poker at this micro limits.
