Hey, let me know what you would do in my spot with queens when facing agression.

1/2 live game
Utg fold, Utg +1 limps, fold, fold, villain in the low jack makes it 12 (stack of 350), high jack calls (stack 200) cut off button and sb fold.

I'm in the bb with queens, stack 650. I make it 30. Folds to villain who grabs a chunk of his chips and says "75". High jack thinks for a bit then folds. I tank for a minute then fold.

The reason is I didn't 3bet for a long time, villain knew I had a good hand, i was playing tight agressive. He wasnt a nit but knew how to fold.I only really beat AK in that spot, and it's still a flip if I jam. I could call the 45, but unless a queen comes it's hard to tell where I am in the hand.

After the hand high jack said he folded jacks

What range of hands do you put villain on after he 4bets you?

What does Equilab say about your equity against that range?

He already answered that question:

So he thinks villains 4betting range is KK+/AK.

You should ask him what villains opening range is and which hands he calls the 3bet with.

I basically put him on ak, kk, and aa. Don't think he would make a move with low pair or anything in general, since he would put his whole stack at risk against me and need to continuation bet almost all flops.

I just recently started to use flopzilla, but when I get home I'll look into equilab

Not enough info on villain, any mid pair+ or high ace would flat my 3 bet though since it probably wasn't large enough

Pot is giving you almost 3 to 1 odds. QQ vs {KK+, AK} is 60/40 against, or 1.5 to 1. So, easy call from a pure odds perspective

Yeah, saw that,,,,, but just wanted to see if he wanted to adjust his range a bit.

KK+/AK seems really tight for a guy who isn't a NIT.

But....statmanhal already jumped the gun into a equity call/fold decision that I was asking OP to answer. So it wouldn't make a difference if villain had a wider range, right? I just think having such a narrow range could be misleading ranges with the read.

if the pot stopped at that point then its a call getting 3 to 1.
showdown odds are not the way to figure playing hands.

if your raise would knock out hands you wanted in and didnt have much of a chance to win it right there then maybe it should have been a call instead.

First things first: the 3 bet was way too small. You have two players who have already put 12 in - need to make it more than 30. He could be 4 betting because your 3! looks weak, which would open up his range. Or, he could be 4 betting because he has a monster. 3 bet bigger and you'll narrow his 4 betting range.
